Immigrants came to Philadelphia because it became the main port in Pennsylvania. With everyone there they started building shops like bakers, blacksmiths etc. Germany had the most immigrants that arrived in Philadelphia. Then they made this gun which became the best gun in the world after French immigrants came.

In section #3 It explained all about Benjamin Franklin and what he did and what he made. First he organized the first trained firefighting company in the 13 colonies and the first fire insurance company.He had done what he done to help get Philadelphia's streets paved and lit at night. Also he raised money to help build the first hospital! Benjamin Franklin did so much things to help Philadelphia he even created his own milatery to keep the land safe and the settlements. Benjamin Franklin is best known for his experiments with electricity. The experments he did helped by keeping homes safe from lightning. He was a very Brave guy who helped keep Philadelphia nice and organized and kept it running smoothly. Benjamin Franklin helped Philadelphia out all different ways he was a very generous man that was a representetive of Philadelphia!

Philadelphia was founded by William Penn, he named his town ''Philadelphia'' meaning ''Brotherly love in'' Greek. his plan was to make a big enough acre to fit ten families in just so that everyone would be in walking distance from each other. Philadelphia was the most popular town for its time.
