I can compare two multi-digit numbers using >, <, or =.
(Example: 7,305 > 6,999)
I can use place value to explain why one number is greater than or less than another.
(Example: “8,000 is greater than 7,900 because the thousands place is larger.”)
I can write numbers in different forms to help me understand and compare their values.
