The amount of explosive energy released by Tsar Bomba amounted to all of the explosives used during World War II multiplied by ten!
-October 16, 1962The Cuban Missile Crisis begins after surveillance photos taken by a  U-2 flight over Cuba show Soviet Missiles on the island.
Soviet Union and the United States were greatly involved but Germany and Britain also wanted to create nuclear weapons.
