         <description><![CDATA[<div>Agree I am struck&nbsp; by how much support G 10 students get in scaffolding their PP compared to younger students with PLP.&nbsp; Should the first PLP each academic year be scaffolded with a common timetable eg this week is research and creating a template fro recording notes on research. Can be difficult to do in mixed grade levels&nbsp; so we do we need a project support period by grade&nbsp;<br>levels somewhere?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is a huge cross over between the Design Cycle and the PP Cycle that could be used to help guide the students through the PLP.  They can use examples from their Design work to help them.  In Design they have a mark scheme that helps them see what they should be aiming for- could this be adapted for PLP, so students chose where they want to be on the grid (obviously remove the marks, but could use a traffic light system).</div>]]></description>

The current model doesn't seem to work that well as the PLP is unstructured and mentors' aren't able to track on every student's progress/ use of time. If the students can have a dedicated, uninterrupted learning period, that would make their PLP a more meaningful project. </div>]]></description>
