This activity was loved by the students as it gave them the opportunity to discover the values hidden in fairy tales, reflect on them and learn through play and story. With joy and curiosity, children discovered that fairy tales are not only magical, but also full of lessons.

After analyzing the fairy tales , they created a large tree trunk and they wrote the names of the fairy tales on the half the leaves and they wrote the values hidden in the fairy tales on the other half the leaves .

Our values tree . Thanks to this values tree , my beloved students had an opportunity to look the fairy tales from a broad perspective and they discovered moral lessons hidden in fairy tales.

Students reread their favorite fairy tales and discussed what values they could associate them with. fairy tales like "little red riding hood", "pinocchio", "the frog prince" and "cinderella" were included in our tree of values and matched with the main ideas of these fairy tales: courage, empathy, kindness and patience
