I played with the rim and wanted something different from the original, I wanted to add a bow to make it my own, I added a bow on the opposite sides as well.

My double bubble right on off the wheel

I made a triple bubble that I wanted to add something to but didn’t really know what I could add to it.

I added the extra bow stripes to add more dimension instead of just two stripes, 4 total stripes.

This was the first ever double bubble I made and how it looked after it was bisque fired. Haven’t come up with a great idea on how to glaze it yet.

Both of my double bubble creations side by side. One was bone dry and the other was in the leather hard stage after I had finished the final details with the bows on each side of the piece.

Just a better photo of my piece that I put a little more detail into, it was a long process on perfecting the bows and how I wanted them to sit on the piece.

This was my first attempt at putting a handle on my first cup. It was a little too big and far away from the piece itself. Mr. Stout gave me some pointers and I decided to try again.

This is after I had readjusted the handle and carved out any excess leather hard slip. I intend this piece to be a gift for my dad, it comes with a bigger one for him and a smaller one for me.

This is a smaller mug that I made and had better luck putting the handle on the first time around and this showed the application of how I put it on and smoothed out the slip the best I could. I trimmed off the excess slipped the next day.

This is how the smaller mug, for me, turned out after trimmed the slip and letting the handle go to a similar leather hard stage as the rest of the mug.

This is my very first attempt at throwing a mug. I like to throw a simple piece at first and see how that turns out in the leather hard and bone dry stage. I trimmed a foot at the bottom. I will see how this turns out and make more attempts at different types of bowls.

This was after the revision of Mr. Stout. There was a clearer jawline, bigger head, more realistic and more weight to the back.

The measurements of a proportionate head, the bridge of the nose to the ope of the head, from the bridge of the nose to the tip of the chin.

I got a little ahead of myself and forgot to take photos of the molding the skull part of the head, I got some pointes from Mr. Stout and was able to make the eye sockets, the nose, and the roughly where the mouth would be.

I began adding wads of clay to the top of the skull head, placing the cheeks first, then the eyes, and the strong nose and nose bridge. Smoothed everything out and began cutting out the eyes and squaring off the nose bridge. I outlined the gums of the animal mouth put the teeth on.

I added smaller details like teeth to the side of the head and the nostrils, rounding out the teeth infront of the skull eye sockets and the ones on the side as well.

I added the breaks in the nose bridge and the placement for what will later be a crown on top of the head.

I added more details to the crown like the placement for a medallion in the center, over exaggerated gums, more teeth, and the sides of the overall helmet type head.
