One thing I loved about this book was alot of Jack’s thinking was expressed in the story and it shows how close Jack is with his mother even though she left him. You learn alot of Jack’s expirence with a crazy slash normal mother. Will Jack forgive his mother after he finds her? This book is similar to Hatchet but with more of an emotional appeal. I liked the book because James Patterson mixed humor with a serious topic. Reading a funny book is fun and makes you laugh even though Jamie is in a wheelchair because one point he showed respect to the kids in the hopeless hotel and.
