I think that there is a lot of benefits of social behavior as a whole for living things. The reason I say that is because take human beings as an example. A baby can't really speak yet until they come of age to about 2 or 3 years old. So in the meantime when a baby has an upset stomach or a isn't feeling well all they can do is cry and whine, due to the fact that, that is their only way to communicate until the time being. For a 10 year old, that child can go to their parents can say "oh hey mom I'm not feeling well" in a clear statement and then that child will get the proper help they need to feel better. Communication helps us get things done, and its helps us express how we are feeling in our health as well. It is important communicate as well as the other social behaviors are important as well.
