It's about a girl who has lived in the woods with her mom basically her whole life, and she has gone through some experiences none of us can imagine. A very intense read!

**meant for an older audience (age 15+)

You are about to see three books by Ms. Perkins with similar covers - that's because they aren't quite a series, but companion novels. Each book is narrated by a different character, but the other narrators show up in the other novels!

This book takes place in...you guessed it. France! And no, the title isn't really right. It's just about a kiss IN France. It's a pretty good one, but maybe above your reading prowess for now.

**meant for an older audience (age 15+)

This one was just kind of annoying for me - I didn't love the main character who was just not what I was expecting. It's definitely a book for a high schooler, so save until then (or skip straight to Isla which is what I wish I would have done!).

**meant for an older audience (age 15+)

This is a brand new author (who I'm totally friends with on Twitter...yeah, I'm cool). It takes place mostly in Europe (Paris and Istanbul) and incorporates a TON of history. It's definitely adapting events in history to meet the storyline, but some of the elements are pretty cool. There are some older teen scenes that may want to make you hold off on reading until high school.

**meant for an older audience (age 15+)

Robyn Schneider's first book "The Beginning of Everything" was one of my favorite books of 2014. This one was really good, too! It's a made up modern day scenario where a new form of tuberculosis has emerged and is extremely contagious. Some of those that are infected and are high school age are sent to a school in the middle of nowhere to live until they heal (or worse). It's a good tale, but probably meant for at least a 13+ reader.

I do not recommend this one lightly unless you have the tissue box handy and can handle some dark thoughts and deep storylines. But I will say - it was a pretty powerful tale! Definitely meant for a 15+ reader.

The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.
