For today, we learned that we will be designing the iPad stand for a specific student who needs to look at TV shows during eating. This altered our aim since we will need to think of a way to make the iPad stand attach to the stroller.

For today, we finalized our three preliminary design. The main concepts are putting the iPad stand on the ground or attach it to the stroller. For the actual build, we decided that we will use wood for most of the parts since wood is a versatile material that can be shaped for many purposes (arm, pedestal, etc).

Today, we tested out the third preliminary design. We realized that the screw plan might not be the most optimal. Therefore, we decide to replace the screw part with just a moveable wooden block. In this way, this will be easier to use since you just need to turn the wooden block and it will lock. Also, we want to have two moveable wooden blocks, which will make it more stable since it will have more support to enclose the metal bars of the stroller.

Today, we carried out our design idea and went to the fab lab to see if our idea works or not. During the Drilling process, however, wo drilled through our base wooden block. This is something we need to take into consideration because we might accidently break the wood when we drill at the corner. Therefore, we need to adjust the dimensions.
