My name is Benjamin Günther and I'm an English teacher in Hermsdorf. We are doing this project in class 7b.

We are at a medium school with about 450 students in 18 classes. What I like about my school is that everyone is welcome and each student gets the chance to make its best of the time at school.

Personally, I like the English language and culture because of its many opportunities. Basically, you can just go anywhere and English will be the language of use.

In my youth I spent about seven months in Cape Town/South Africa. There I learned the importance of speaking English. It's just fantastic to get connected and to share culture. That's the reason I like to encourage my students to get in contact with people all over the world.

In my freetime I like to play the guitar, watch movies or TV shows take a run or walk through the woods and shoot the bow.

I'm really looking forward to this project because it's a great opportunity to show my students that English can be of good use.
