Trying to take care of the boy and himself at the same time is a lot I’m sure and it’s going to change the mental state of both the man and the boy.

Prompt: the song, die with a smile, because the lyrics “if the world was ending I want to be next to you” it shares the relationship of the dad and the boy because the boy doesn’t want to live without the father, and the other way around. They both feel ostracized in this world but at least they have each other.

Prompt: the meme relates to the story because this is what I expect the expression on the boys and the dads face when they see the bodies.

Prompt: a twist is that this could have in this book is that the boys mom could still be alive and they find her, whether she’s dead or undead, or even alive this would be a crazy twist. It would leave a nebulous feeling if the mom was found but she was dead. The man has a very strong decorum and this would probably hurt the man deeply for them to find the boys mother.
