Anne for the two years she was there shared everything in her diary called kitty. In the year 1944 in August they were discovered after a secret tip-off. They were arrested by the Gestapo and interrogated and then sent to the transit camp in the Netherlands. In September they were sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. In early 1945, Anne and Margot contracted typhus, an infectious disease transmitted by lice. Margot died first, probably in February or March, and shortly thereafter, Anne also passed away where Margot passed away and after a short time Anne passed away. The only survivor was Otto who had been released. He found Anne's book and in 1947 published the book.
