We saw the rooms on the map and decided to explore each room in groups, to reach the heart. So we were divided into 4 groups and each group undertook to find 5 recyclable items from each material (paper, glass, plastic, metal). For each thing he took a coin.

After doing all the activities, we talked about how we felt. All the kids liked it a lot, but most of all they went crazy with the game that had ear coins (as the voting we did showed).

Children have learned that we can help the earth through easy actions, such as turning off tap water while brushing our teeth, using the bicycle and bus more instead of the personal car, selecting waste to recycle it.

After reading the story we discussed about the small actions we can take in order to save our planet. All the chlidren have coloured images and we selected some of them for making the project poster. It was a very interesting activity!
