+ After gathering the research from my scholarly research I have decided my target audience should be teenagers (adolescents) mainly targeted towards females.
+ The reason for this is because through my research I discovered that females have a harder time accepting their body image than men.
+ I also want to connect with the teenagers that use social media. The reason for this is due to the fact that social media portrays the 'ideal/perfect' body figure rather than the reality that people want to see.

The mind map has helped me explore different ways I can approach my topic. Whether it is focusing on appearances and features (example: nose shape, eye colour) or body shapes and figures (example: hourglass figure). I decided to focus on the body figure because that is something that society struggles to accept that we all have a different body shape. It also helped me acknowledge my target audience (female teenagers) and the perspective (from a females point of view). The advert is focusing on promoting a powerful mindset when looking at your body.

The emotions that will be portrayed are sadness, ashamed, strongness and power. I want to portray the idea of 'breaking free' out of social standards.

Interests
My advert is directed towards female adolescent teenagers, who struggle with their complexion. As a young person, I can somewhat relate to the emotions young people have to face in society and their complexion. In my advert, I will add elements to relate to their interests. For example, I will add a social media element to my advert because it is a big part of teenagers daily routine.

Desire
At the start of my video, the main girl/girls will get put down by social media and society. From being confident about their bodies, they will feel horrible because of people and their comments. The audience will feel bad, and will also relate to the actors/actresses.

Action
At the end of my advert, there will be a call to action. The audience will feel like they can relate to the scenario which will compel them to want to do something about it. My intention is to enforce an action at the end of the advertisement, urging the audience to contact (join) my company. By becoming a member of my company they will have access to support and advice to help them be confident in their own bodies.

The video begins with two different girls with similar stories. Both girls have different sized bodies (small, mid or large). They are both looking into the mirror with a cute and confident outfit on. The cameras constantly change between the two actresses. Around the screen has multiple hate comments and messages targeted towards their image, they both decide to change into clothing that purposefully hides their figure (jumpers, trackpants). Throughout the video there is music playing in the background, the music is sincere and heartfelt, but has no lyrics.

After the girls changed their clothing, they start scrolling through social media. The girls find multiple women with ‘perfect’ bodies and complexions according to society. After scrolling fro a little bit, they come across an account of realistic beautiful women (all things wild account). The girls feel empowered by the account and soon realise that social media is corrupt and that they are actually beautiful. They go back to their closet and put the original outfit on again.

The screens fades to black then to the all things wild logo. The music fades out and a voiceover is said, saying "be proud be you". It then has the website URL and says become a member, join now on the screen.

How does my target audience feel about my product before they have seen it?
Depending on the experience of the audience; they may feel frustrated because of how social media stereotypes the ideal woman, and they are tired of arguing with society telling them a women body isn't perfect already. On the other hand, some may feel the negativity towards their body and is feeling or knows how it feels to be discouraged and drained.

How do you want them to feel after they've seen your video?
At the end of the advert, I want the audience to feel a little more confident in their body and know they are not alone. It may not be possible to make someone feel 100% confident in the body with a 30-second video. However, the call to action will compel them to become a member of the business which will help them feel confident and powerful over-time.

What tone/s or emotion/s will you need to convey to convince your audience of your promotional video?
Towards the beginning of the advert, the audience will feel guilty and miserable. Connecting to the emotions of the actor/actress.

This colour scheme is mainly focused on the beginning of the advertisement, the negativity. it will mainly be used for the clothing and the visual filter of the frame. The reason this palette is predominantly dark colours is because it signifies despair, brokenness and sadness.

Colour scheme B is my main colour palette. It will be used in the advert when the characters feel proud and happy with their body. It will mainly be used for the website and website logo. I chose bright light colours (light/pastel purple) because it represents power and ambitions, and I want my clients to feel powerful in their bodies.

I chose three different fonts for the website; main text, sub-headings and heading. I wanted them to complement each other, so the website would look organised and clean. The heading font (essones display bold) is strong and bold; it helps portray the emotions I wanted to put across, powerful and strong. The sub-heading font (Masqualero semi-bold italic) is similar to the heading font. However, it is slightly less powerful; to demonstrate that the information is important but it is highlighting the main heading. And lastly, I decided to keep the main text (minion pro display) simple because it is the main text being read and I wanted it to be easily understood.
