3 Things I learned:

1. Jesus is the perfect role model of a active listener, and so we should follow Him

2. There are many common mistakes that we may not even notice when listening such as being distracted and judging to quickly

3. Being an active listener is so important as a leader because it reflects the fruit of the spirit, builds trust, etc

1. I want to practice to not suddenly go into my train of thought and focus to listen fully what the person has to say

1 Thing I Want To Stop:

I want to stop thinking that my opinion is better than other peoples opinion and interupting other people.

-        Active listening reflects the fruit of the Spirit. It fosters trust within the community and encourages growth.

-        Being a good leader means being a good active listener. To dismiss and not listen carefully would make the speaker feel belittled. We must give the speaker our full attention and care when they speak.

-        We have to ask reflective questions and not be quick to judge, and we have to speak the truth with love. That means when somebody makes a mistake, we shouldn't point it out harshly, but rather privately and gently.

2 things I want to practice:

-        Not interrupting others when they’re speaking, but to listen and let the speaker speak to the fullest, and wait for my turn to speak.

-        Focusing on the speaker and giving them all my attention when they speak. Not getting distracted and thinking of something else, but to listen.

1 thing I want to stop:

-        When somebody speaks, not often would my mind think of something else, and I would get distracted by the surroundings. It doesn't happen a lot, but it's very crucial. I want to change that habit and listen attentively when somebody speaks.

1. Active listening builds trust, prevents misunderstanding, and follows the teachings of bible.

2. Jesus gave us an example by giving full atention, ask questions, and spoke with love.

3. Poor listening and bad habits make others feel unappreciated and can lower our standings.

1. I want to become an active listener because by giving feedback and balancing honesty

1. I want to stop judging people without knowing their background, because i feel like one day it will turn its back onto me

3 things I learned: We have to be fair in our choices, we have to make sure our opinions align with others, we have to wait and not cut other people’s conversation

2 things I want to practice: making sure to understand other people’s points and focusing in the middle of explanations.

Getting too distracted from listening by focusing on other things or daydreaming and start focusing on the one who is talking to me.

3. Becoming an active listener isn't something we can learn in a short amount of time, but talking about integrity it takes a lot of time, work, and self reflection.

1. I learned that when someone is explaining or when a meeting is being held, we have to pay close attention and listen attentively.
