TED-Ed offers a set of tools that allows instructors to create interactive lesson pages around current TED-Ed videos, as well as YouTube video content. The steps involved are very well explained, and with a minimum of "learning time," an instructor will have their own lesson created, with an url they can send to their students. There is also a function to manage the lessons you create by accessing a personalized lesson activity page.

To show the ease of use, I've included the three steps they list on their site to create a lesson:

To get started, visit our video search page to select a video. You can search by keyword, or paste in a YouTube URL. TED-Ed Lessons can be created around either public or unlisted YouTube videos. Note that the videos here have not been filtered or vetted by the TED-Ed team, so make sure that you review the contents of any video you're not already familiar with!

Once you have selected your video, click through into the TED-Ed Lesson editor. You'll be able to add multiple choice questions, open answer questions, discussion prompts, and additional resources to your lesson.

After you publish your lesson, you'll receive a unique URL for your lesson page. Only you have access to this link, so you can share it with your class in whatever way works for you.

As students submit work on your lesson page, you'll be able to monitor their progress and view their answers. You can also use any of the sample lessons that we provide in our public lesson library with your students. To do this, visit any of our lesson pages that you're interested in, and use the "Customize This Lesson" button at the bottom right to copy the lesson to your account. Keep any of our content that you like, or feel free to add your own! When you publish your copy of the lesson, you'll receive a link to your customized copy of the lesson - share this with your students to track their work.

TED-Ed Clubs are education based initiatives to get young people (ages 8 to 18) to share their ideas with peers and others by giving a TED-like presentation on a topic they're passionate about. TED provides curricula and limited support for the Clubs. There is no fee involved to join or participate in the Clubs.
The TED-Ed Club program involves grammar to secondary schools, not college or university level. They also include educational organizations working with students in these grades. They do hope to expand the program to include colleges and universities in the future, and their site directs people to the TEDx University events - events that are TEDx hosted at a college or university, and organized by current university administration staff, faculty or students.

TED-Ed Originals are the program's signature content: short, animated videos about ideas that spark the curiosity of learners. Every TED-Ed Original represents a creative collaboration between experts. These experts can include TED Speakers and TED Fellows, as well as educators, designers, animators, screenwriters, directors, science writers, historians, journalists and editors. These original animated videos, paired with questions and resources, make up what is known as TED-Ed Lessons.
