Booth Library’s Read & Publish agreement with Cambridge University Press lets EIU faculty and other campus affiliates publish articles, if accepted, Open Access (OA) in hundreds of Cambridge journals (those with an OA publishing option) without paying Article Processing Charges. Please see more details on our agreement at the Cambridge website, and visit their Eligibility Checker tool to see the specific list of journals available for free OA publishing.  In addition, articles by EIU authors which were previously accepted for non-OA publication in Cambridge OA journals in 2025 may be eligible for retroactive conversion to OA.  Cambridge’s step-by-step guide for authors provides additional assistance. As an added benefit of this agreement, EIU users have access to the Cambridge University Press 2025 full collection of over 400 journals.
