Philosophy and the Olympics in Ancient Greece

The Olympics
The Olympic Games started in Ancient Greece more than 2,700 years ago. They were held to honor the Greek god Zeus. Athletes from different Greek cities competed in sports like running, wrestling, and jumping. The Olympics were so important that wars would stop so the games could take place. Today, we still have the Olympic Games every four years!
Philosophy
Philosophy is the study of big questions like, “What is the meaning of life?” and “How should we live?” In Ancient Greece, famous thinkers like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle asked these kinds of questions. They helped people think deeply about the world, the mind, and how to be good. Their ideas still influence how we think today!

the ancient Greece was filled with smart people. Olympics and geometry and more were in greece and in greece boys had to go to school in 7 age and girls had to learn cooking reading writing in Greece there was a state which was in Sparta they were the only state in Greece who gave girls education they continued till 700yrs till they were occupied by the roman empire and the olymipics were held at 770bbcs western style was also by the greece they brought many different things to our future
