2. Text: 22 feet tall, 40,000 lbs bronze sculpture. Made up of 2 pairs of hands, one pair female and one pair male. A male hand has a ring, and a female hand has a bracelet.

Context: This was modeled after Martin Luther King Jr and his wife Coretta Scott King. It was taken from a photo of them embracing after MLK had found out that he had won the noble peace prize.

Subtext: Represents equality, unity, and the fight against racism. It's named The Embrace and shows an embrace, it sends a message of acceptance and love.

3. This would be considered conceptual art because a lot of its meaning and value as art is based on the background surrounding its creation. The photo being the inspiration brings a lot of meaning and importance to the peace.

4. The audience interpretation has been mixed, and very politicized. Some viewers think of this as inspiration, an homage to MLK, with pictures showing viewers embracing each other. Others view it as a waste of money, and a white washing of king's legacy.

This bronze sculpture art is the embrace of Martin Luther King and his wife. It is designed to arouse human love and intimate feelings, and also to let the audience consider the role of race and performance in art and media. This is a powerful visual expression of black body and love. It can produce a series of emotions and reactions according to the audience's experience and personal views.
