Never in my life thinking that one day I would want to become a teacher. In fact, I used to see teaching profession is lower than being a doctor. Little did I realised, if there is no teacher, there will be no doctor. But don't get me wrong, doesn't mean I don't really look up onto them that I loose my respect towards them. I respect teacher as a person who willingly to share their knowledge and have the courage to face all the hardship to educate people. Despite of being students secondary parents in school, they taught us a lot about many things including our curriculum. My journey in teaching profession or in educating people has just begun.

In life, we need to evaluate almost everything including ourselves. Humans aren't perfect, day by day we need to evaluate ourselves of what we've done in our lives. Evaluation can be made qualitatively or quantitatively. In curriculum provided by the education faculty, we learnt to do evaluation quantitatively. There are many ways to measure it and one of it of course by conducting a survey. The curriculum also thought us on how to handle those information or raw data. Calculating mode, mean, and median are one of the way to handle the raw data to make it meaningful. In brief, mode is the data that have the highest frequency. Mean simply said as the average of the data. And median is the data that is located in the middle of an organised data.

According to Merriam-Webster, instruction is define as a statement that describes how to do something. It is also defined as order or command. In teaching, we need instructions to deliver the information or to do something related to the information. In our daily, instruction is needed in order for us to do something that met the needs of something. As an example we need instruction to draw, we need instruction of safety in laboratory. Instruction guide us towards something that we want to achieve. During a lesson, instruction is important to keep track of our lesson, and also to well-organised our class.

First of all, some people might not notice that, curriculum is not just about academic. There are things we called as hidden curriculum. What is hidden curriculum? It is a curriculum based on moral values, informal learning, and unwritten. As an example;manners. Manners is a kind of hidden curriculum where it is undocumented. The application of it could be every where. Manners should be taught in class informally because it is the way of life. We don't need any syllabus to teach them. What we need is to be the role model for them to follow.

To be a good teacher is not as easy as you might think. What does it take to be a good teacher? In order to be good teacher, they need so much sacrifices. They need to sacrifice their time, money, energy and many more to be be better. So what are the qualities on being a good teacher?

First of all, teacher need to have knowledge. As a teacher, they need to prepare well and have goals in their life. During teaching session, a good teacher must have equal contact with all of his or her students. Use the time given to give the best you could give to students.

Then, a good teacher must have high expectation towards our students. Even though they have different levels of cognitive development, they must be fair towards every single person of them. A good teacher also need to remind students to always do their best and have goals in their life.

Despite all of the hardship, teacher need to be flexible in varying teaching behaviour and activities. During the assessment and evaluation, teacher should be able to give students higher order questions to enhance their thinking ability. If they succeed, give them praise as reward for their hard work. For those who don't, give them feedback so that they can improve themselves.

Last but certainly not least, a good teacher must be able to evaluate themselves towards achieving the goals. They also need to manage their classroom very well and make it interesting.

Today we are going to discuss about what is Interaction / Dynamic model that were proposed by Taba and Cohen. Well of course in previous we have learnt about Models Of Curriculum Construction and this is one of the models.

Interaction / Dynamic Model is actually a modification of the previous Tyler's Model. To be highlighted, this models have the same elements as the Tyler's Model, but the application of it is quite different.

This model proposed that all the elements can be follow in sequence OR it also can be applied in random sequence, in example, you may want to start the construction of curriculum by contents first and continue with other element.

One thing that we could say, this models are flexible. Which is good in certain situation. But then, it does not have fixed objectives. Thus in the process of constructing the curriculum you might stray far from the initial objectives. And the direction is not fixed, this might lead to a unorganized curriculum structure.

This model is so effective that until this year 2018, this model is still widely use by scholars to construct a curriculum.

Warning!!! This could be the longest post, so feel free to skip this one if you DON'T CARE about what I feel.

November 14, 2018 is date that maybe marked as the date that I will remember through out my entire life. It is the date where I had to do my micro-teaching. For those who don't have any idea what micro-teaching is. It is a session where I have to do a mock teaching in front of my class.

The thing is, teaching is not easy. If you think that teaching only involve delivering the knowledge you have, it is totally wrong. In teaching, you need to have the skills to attract people's attention especially your students. One of it is by preparing a teaching aid.

To be honest I'm not fully prepared because the only thing that I'm afraid of is my time management. Since I need to finish my teaching in just 20 minutes, I find it hard for me. Why do I feel so? Because I'm the type of person who hardly stop when I start to speak.Yeah it can be consider as gift and also a curse.

To do the micro-teaching well, one must be prepared physically and mentally. As I said before, it's not easy. I already did my best in delivering the lesson with my teaching aid, and as I expected, I reach beyond the time limit. In this particular moment, a gift turned to a curse.

A lot of things I learned from this session. People keep on saying "Ammar you did great", can't deny that I feel happy, but little deep inside, I still think that I can do better. Despite of all the hardship, I manage to go through it, and special thanks to Mr. Furkan for all knowledge that had been given to me.
