In the United States, E-Cigarettes are regulated to a certain extent. In order to ensure that e-cigarettes do not enter the hands of the younger generations, the USPS, in conjunction with the FDA, banned the mailing of e-cigarettes and other smokeless tobacco products. Moreover, all 50 states have legislation prohibiting the sale of e-cigarettes to underage persons. Furthermore, many states, such as Connecticut, have implemented excise taxes on all e-cigarettes.

Sources:

https://truthinitiative.org/research-resources/emerging-tobacco-products/e-cigarettes-facts-stats-and-regulations

https://www.atf.gov/alcohol-tobacco/vapes-and-e-cigarettes
