1. The viking Creation story was a really weird one that involved gods being descendants of giants, it involves a lot of ice, which could be in part related to the region where the vikings lived.
2. It's weird that in the story of their creation the gods are rarely mentioned, mythical creatures are the ones who are mentioned the most.
3.The fact that is mentioned that the sky and the stars were set up, but not the heavens.
4. The viking story has a weird animal-creature who is in charge of making humans, like the spider woman in the Hopi Indians story.
5.Rainbows seem to be important symbols in the Viking story, it's the only connection to heaven and the gods that they have.

1.Like most of the creation stories ,of the vikings, they seem to have a similar understanding on how the earth and sky were created.
2. It was weird to find out Ymir, the ice giant, is evil and he does this with an un clear reason.
3. A supernatural element from the story is the cow that that licked the ice and some how created a person slowly head first.
4. Bor's sons made people out of logs .
5. Another chariot driver that cares the sun to whom is Sol just like Greek mythology.

1. It shared certain aspects with other creation stories we have read about.
2. Odin, Ymir and Bestla were involved
3. We are made from WOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. I would have thought the ice giant would have been good, cause fire vs ice, ya know?
5. he thought that the bifrost would have been a lot more intimidating considering that it represented the gods power.

They all seem pretty chill about Ragnarok even though the world will end.
4. Not a lot is known about the future of the new world.
5. There was no explanation for why all
Ice giants were considered evil.

5 major plot points

1)From drip of ice formed a man named Ymir. As ice continued to drip if formed a giant cow. The
mile from her utters fed Ymir. The cow fed by licking the ice of which a man emerged from.

2) Buri had a son named Bor who married Bestla and together that had three sons. The most
powerful of the sons was Odin. Eventually Ymir turned evil and battled against the young gods. In the end the young gods won
and killed the frost giant

3) From Ymir's body many thing were created. From his body they made the earth, From blood came the sea, Bone became rocks
and hair the trees. The took his skull and used it to make the sky and his brain clouds.

4) the gods then found two logs from which they made the first people. On of the sons gave them breath and form. Another gave
consciousness and movement. And the last gave them faces, speech, and hearing.

5) Eventually one mortal had two children a daughter and a son. The kids were so beautiful that he named them sol and Mani after the sin and the moon
This made the gods jealous and so they took action. The children were taken up to the sky and forced to drive the chariots that pull the sun and the moon.
Gods involved: Odin, Ymir, and Bor
There were some natural elements such as the earth and all of it's life. On the other had supernatural elements like Ymir being formed from ice drops. Lastly I think the message was that so much can be made from one thing.
