We were first introduced unto how the culture and also weaving, was something that was inclined in their lives as a tribe. They had said that weaving was a big part of indigenous person's identity. Through how weaving became a way of living and also a culture that is being passed on through women in their tribe. They had created such wonderful and beautiful mats, which is seen through their intricate way of weaving. Then later on, in the program we are given a chance to see how a master weaver, weaves this specific mats. It was first down through the use of their hands and feet, which left me speechless. The way that they handled each detail without the use of a draft, they were able to create such pieces on the spot. It also gave me an insight about how these weavers needed that certain acknowledgement that they are a culture to be proud of. The reason behind it is the fact that the "banigs" are made with quality over it's quantity. On how it is lightweight and specially made. The banigs that are made by the Bukidnon-Tagolwanen weavers is something to take note of.

There was also a part in where we could be able to touch the banigs itself. For me, the form of how it is art by itself, is something to be seen. Through how each details form such beautiful patterns. Also, the different colors that were used,  was one of the ways in how the banig really showed its beauty. It led the people become more intrested through its patterns because of how the red and black showcased such lively colors.
