the First Estate was composed of Clergy and Church Officials like the pope and other priests that made up 1% of the Population and they also 10% of the land in France, they was also not required to pay the taxes of France. The Second Estate was composed of Nobles who held the jobs in the government, army, and the courts. they also made up 10% of the population and were not required to pay taxes. the Third Estate of France was the commoners who made up 89% of the population and paid all the taxes they were taxed heavily and were very poor and were always outvoted 2 to 1 as each estate had one vote.

the king once held a national assembly which was a system of representation based on population. however the king locked them out of the building and the vote was carried on without them. they then made the tennis court oath in a tennis court in the assembly and promised not to disband until a constitution for the free people of France has been made.

in October 1789 after taking over the Bastille they marched from Paris to the Palace of Versailles enraged from the prices of bread and the Queens mad spending on luxuries, parties, and gambling. the angry mob arrives and breaks into the Palace and takes the King and Queen from the Palace. The commoners attempted to form the Legislative Government after they put the King and Queen under house arrest.

the government works like a constitutional government where the king works with the people. this fails when Queen Antoinette tries to get her brother to invade to crush the revolution with the Austrian army. the royal family is soon beheaded by the guillotine. Robespierre took power with the First Republic, however Robespierre than becomes corrupt with power and begins the Reign of Terror. the Reign of Terror was a event where Robespierre killed anyone who was against the revolution. He is killed when the military overthrows him ending the Reign of Terror.

The military genius Napoleon was hungry for power and he staged a coup d'etat', a coup to overthrow the directory. He than holds a vote by the people and names himself First Consul. He then finds the Rosetta Stone and translates the Egyptian hieroglyphics.

He also conquers Austria, Prussia, Portugal, and Spain and proceeds to put his family in charge of them all. He blockades England to stop trade using the Continental System to weaken England in the wars. He also crowns himself emperor of France. this all crumbles when he fails to invade Russia.
