Barley corn was used to then add on an inch for shoe sizes.<br><br>5.Since they had used iron it started to change over the years making it inaccurate.<br><br>6.some scientist tried to measure the earth but they were denied and didn't finish what they had started .<br><br>7. One meter is precise to 0.000000003 of a second and it is also constant.</div>]]></description>
