Due to the lack of collaboration with the other Hair and Make up member, they didnt attend pre production, I assigned myself Interviewers 1 and 2, Jeff and Sally. I chose these as I knew I would be in the scenes with them So Megan wouldn't have to come in and I could do them.

Interviewer 2 is more intimidating and professional so to achieve this with hair and make up I started creating mood boards with natural make up that made the character appear very put together but with a slight smoke on the eye she has that intimidating, stern look to her. With the hair I decided I wanted it slick, straight and out of her face to contrast Interviewer 1's curly hair. I wanted the interviewers to appear realistic so I stuck to the minimal make up for realism.

On the day of the shoots I matched her skin shade and set aside 20 minutes to complete Anas make up. Through the shoot I made sure if I wasn't in shot I could look through a monitor and touch up when needed (Blotting, liptick and hairspray)

Interviewer 1 is warm and friendly. Although still professional I wanted her make up to bolder and warmer. To further contrast eachother I gave Interviewer 1 a red lip but to soften it I made sure the rest of her face was bronzed and glowy. Interviewer 1's Actor, Niamh, has gorgeous curly hair which I wanted to utilise so I kept it mainly down with half back out her face with a bobble. The curls soften the character and make her more approachable.

On the shoot Niamh came prepared with her base make up on - as she was more comfortable to do her base. I then added more bronzer on the cheeks, forehead and eyes and I added her red lip.

With Jeff I wanted him to appear as a stereotypical business man so I made sure he looked put together, professional and clean. I styled his hair into a slight quiff and set it in place with hairspray.

With make up I just added slight concelear and bronzer so the lights wouldnt wash him out.

In my eyes, Sally is meant to be a very relatable character and because of this I started to come up with how she would look. With the film being in the day time and she never goes anywhere 'special' I gave her very relatable natural make up but focused on adding blush and bronzer so the character's features are enhanced. I wanted her eyes to pop so i added a dark smoke around them so in scenes such as the one where Jeff speaks Cantonese the audience really focuses on Sally's eyes.

As for hair I had it down when sally returned home to show her being comfortable and then when she was at the interview it up so she was professional and then when in the park the producer and I agreed that with wind it would be smart to also wear it up as a just incase.
