How are these resources helpful?

These articles and scholarly journals discuss the topic of measuring effective teaching. Each resource gives different ways of measuring the effectiveness of teaching, or talks about the pros and cons of specific ways to measure effective teaching. Each resource provides great information on the research question, and are extremely helpful.

Do these resources provide answers to the question?
Are there areas of research that does not support the proposed question?

These resources do provide answers to the questions; there are lists given that provide a number of ways to appropriately measure the effectiveness of teaching. The resources also tell what approaches do and do not work. There are statistics given on how well certain approaches work in order to measure the effectiveness of teaching.

Did I come away with new questions?

I came away wondering what is the method used in Murfreesboro City Schools in order to measure the effectiveness of teachers in schools?

I also wonder how many teachers, a year, are fired based on the measuring method of meeting scores in student standardized testing?

What was the main point of my research?

The main point of my research was to see how schools appropriately measure the effectiveness of their teachers? I wanted to see if there was one way that is most used and popular, or if many ways work when seeking to measure the effectiveness of teaching in the best way.

Did anything else become important while researching?

The measuring of effective teaching depends on the type of school you are at. Many public schools measure their teacher's effective teaching based on standardized testing, but smaller schools, and private schools focus more on self, peer, and administrative evaluations.

Who is my audience?

My audience is future and current educators.
