In my opinion the moon is the best metaphor to describe Shakespeare’s love.

It is something that doesn’t change and that doesn’t move, it’s always there lighting night.

Moon can also represent toxic love, because we see it only due to it reflects sun’s light; as a lover, who says that he can live just for and with her beloved.

Sea

The sea, in my opinion, represents love as described by Shakespeare at its best. It stretches infinitely and, like love, can seem limitless. Just as the tides are drawn by the moon, our love also attracts us and binds us to someone.

Personally if i have to compare something with my idea of love i will choose an intricate labyrinth because very usually love is difficult, difficult like to escape from a labyrinth.

Also a labyrinth, like love, is full of challenges and every choose could bring you into a turning point for the sensation of love.

But at the end, when you find the right way, the labyrinth open forwards the clarity and satisfaction of reciprocated love.
