Today’s class was really helpful and necessary, I got all my questions answered - the one I personally/individually asked on Google Classroom after the document reading and also the ones I had while watching the presentation. - and I also really liked the chosen method to evaluate the students’ engagement with the class, because I’m an introverted and shy person and in this way, I can show more clearly my progress and engagement with the course - this was something I would like to have said in the class, but my timidity didn’t let me do it.

Besides that, in my opinion, I handled my shyness well during the class. I asked a question about the diary platform using the microphone and participated in the warm up, which was very fun. I enjoyed it a lot and I felt comfortable even though I was showing my face to a few people, which is a thing that makes me feel a little nervous.

Then, as the doubts were being answered, I was writing down key-words and the most important things about them in my notebook, to help me remember it correctly - writing down stuff helps me to remember and learn things easily and quickly.

This class was also very fun to have, it was very satisfactory to get all the quiz’s answers right, because now I feel like I totally understand the evaluation process and that makes me feel more confident and comfortable with my work and my own development.

The group reflection about the students’ quiz results and its connection to one determined principle - my group discussed about the third one - was my favorite part of the class, because I could really express myself, mainly because I was working in a small group, which I feel more comfortable talking to.

My internet connection was irregular and because of this I couldn't watch the presented video properly, but I took notes of my classmates’ speeches and also looked for it later on Classroom and found it really interesting, the information on it is something that we need to think, reflect and worry about, as teachers and citizens.

That was my favorite class so far, I absolutely loved my topic and it was really nice to get to talk about it. I even watched the video twice, the first time to write down the most important aspects and my own reflections about them and the second time because I really enjoyed it and I felt like I should watch it again.

After watching the video, my pair and I discussed it and each one of us picked a song that we thought that matched the topic and we also looked for a researcher that could help us to explain it to the other groups.

I was responsible for sending the assignment with our content and also for presenting to our classmates, I was 100% confident about it and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. They were also really nice while I was talking, it was a good experience.

Even though my topic was my favorite of all, I really enjoyed the other presentations and topics and I took notes of it so I could help them at filling in the document later.

I wrote down some of the points made by my classmates as well.

The activity on Jamboard was really interesting and satisfying, because I got almost all questions right, which means I really understood the subject. I don’t like jamboard that much, but I think this was a great choice for the activity chosen.

To be honest, this was one of the most important classes of the whole semester. The talk was quite helpful and thoughtful, and helped me to understand better the current situation of school and educational activities, as well as how actual teachers deal with certain situations in class and how they lead the class as a whole.

With all the information, I could adjust my intervention question better and reflect about it. The class was really necessary for the asynchronous activity due to the next week, I could do it very easily with the info I collected and the knowledge that was given by the teachers.

The class started with a review, so we could recapture the subject and keep it in our mind. Then, we could understand better how school properly works, see and analyze it with a different point of view, keeping in mind its ideology and philosophy.

We were introduced to a few philosophies that can be applied at school and in education as a whole, which can be really helpful for our graduation as teachers. The activity we did after that was good to recapture and memorize the new subject as well, especially because it was a group activity, so we could help each other with something we didn’t get from the explanation.

Since we will need this for the whole course, learning about research is fundamental and quite important. The formation and explanation about it provided in this class was the key point for us to think about a new information collect tool, even though we only really got to change it after another google meet with the professors. Also helped us to improve our questions.

Tema 1: How comics helped me develop my interest in reading - Izabela Margonar

Tema 2: The importance of art for child development - Laíny Larreia da Silva

Tema 3: How pop-culture saved me in a classroom - Henrique Rodrigues de Oliveira

However, the disscusion we had after it was totally worth it.
It was very pleasing to know that my colleagues share the same positive thoughts as me regarding scholar context and we share basically the same principles!

First of all, I would like to add that Leffa's text was definitely one of the best and the most constructive texts I've ever read. It brings a very important disscussion to us, future teachers, about english teaching at public schools, which is something that we should be aware about.
It was also that important to me, because I personally only studied at private schools my whole life, so I didn't get to experience this context in person. Because of this, I feel like I should study and read more about it so I will be able to be the teacher I plan and dream to be.
Also, hearing the experiences of my colleagues that studied at public schools was extremely enriching for me, I'm glad I could listen to them and get to know more about that.

I was a little bit nervous to talk about my topic at first, but at the end it was a very interesting and nice experience, I really enjoyed it.
Also, the text was very good and had a very relevant content.

The video we had to watch was very intense and full of information, so it helped us to contribute at Miro.
Then, at the actual class, we had the chance to disscuss about our country's educational system organization, which particularly helped me a lot, since I find these things quite coonfusing.
This class definitely helped me to be a more prepared teacher in the future, since it was all new information to me.

I really enjoyed making the mind map about the differences between public and private schools, so the class was so much fun as well! I think this is a very pertinent subject and I really like to disscuss and get to hear about it.
As someone who studied in private schools my whole life, I see myself as someone who needs to be educated a lot about public shools, specially because I plan to work at a public school in the future. Because of that, this class was very important to me.

I think this type of class was really dynamic and interesting, because was my first time having something like this online. I've only had this type of class in person before, so the possibility of organizing a different class even online got me really excited.
It is also nice because we are able to disscuss in smaller groups, so most of us (including myself) feel more comfortable about sharing our thoughts.
The disscussions were also very enriching and it was also nice to get to share our views about the subject after watching Professor Andressa's classes.

This class was one of the most helpful and relevant for our PFI, because analyzing data is definitely one of the most challenging parts of our project, since we are dealing with people's own opinions and views, which can be very hard to relate precisely to our topic.
Even though it will be hard anyway, in my opinion, after this class, it will be a lot easier to do it.
