He was born in 1912, in a small town near Krakow. He studied law at Krakow University. In 1938 he became secretary of the Akiva movement. In 1939, he was appointed to become national secretary of Akiva. His job had kept him in Warwas until the war had broken out. He had beleived that the Jews wouldnt be able to live under the Nazis. In December of 1940, he was put in charge of an agriculture and vocational program near Krakow. On december 22, Jewish fighters had carried out their boldest plan to plan a series of attacks on German forces throughout the city. Members of the JFO had to throw grenades into 3 different cafes. German authorities had sent out to find resistance fighters and Liebskind. They were captured in December of 1942. On April 29th, 1943 they were taken to the Plazow Labour camp. During the drive to the camp some prisoners were able to escape but got shot. Liebskind had escape but on December 24th, 1942 he had been found and was shot.
