Since 1957 the shop has and still is opened. There used to be a cinema here mostly family The owner has been working here for a very long time selling medicine. Last time seel used item now sell free pack items. Customers is from baby toddler to elderly.

Uncle koh is so friendly and his 70 plus his shop has been up for 50 years and he us the boss of the shop as his father in law has died and now he is the boss

The shop has been here for more than 50 years, it used to be selling supplies . Now he sells prepaid phone cards. His shop got rented out and became a DBS bank. He said that there is karaoke shops, tuition centres, spas and restaurants that are being built he encountered while working there. Uncle Koh is 78 years old and has been working here for a long time. His children is studying overseas and he doesn’t wanna follow as he is really used to living here. His father in law used to be the boss of the shop but he has passed away sadly and now uncle Koh became the boss

the shop has been here for more than 20 years . chinese new year is their favourite time of the year as it is a lot of people and customers . the people at serangoon garden are very nice and friendly. their most popular dish is prata . the menu has not changed over the years. some of the shops has changed at serangoon garden. majority of their customers are chinese, indians and malay .

The man who works as a cashier in the shop has said that not much has changed in the RK eating house.For example,the menu and the shop itself has not changed.Even though,not much has changed in the shop..other shops around the eating house has changed.For instance,a bank.

life has been peaceful around serangoon garden estate but there were murder cases near it.

Mabel Wee and her friends have lived around this area for 70 years. They created a book named “Vim, Vigour & Vitality: Spirited Voices of Serangoon Garden Estate”

Mabel Wee has a shop called “Serangoon Garden Bakery & Confectionary”

Her favourite memory of Serangoon Garden is all the neighbours are friends and will always be willing to give food and items to each other. Serangoon garden is a safe place to leave the door open while sleeping. The neighbours are very trustworthy to the point where they let other people to look over their houses whenever they are away.

Uncle John is one of the oldest people who used to work when the British were still living here. He's also very friendly with the passerby and the neighbours.

He's 78 years old ,he sells prepaid Sim cards.And he's been working here for 50 years. He works here because his father in law and his father is working here so he also works here.

When living with the British he usually talks in English, but surprisingly the British soldiers can speak well, but no spell well.
