My family has been going here for as long as I can remember. We have a cabin that is on the lake, and over the summer family from across the country comes here for a family reunion! We always travel into town and drive all the way over to Lake Placid to shop. My dad always tells us about how the 1980 olympics was held there and how he went to the ski jumps when the US hockey team was playing the USSR.
