For example:<br><br><strong>Geosphere </strong>- The roads we use to drive daily are constructed on the geosphere.<br><strong>Hydrosphere </strong>- The water we drink daily is part of the hydrosphere.<br><strong>Biosphere </strong>- The fruits and vegetables we eat are products of different trees, which are part of the biosphere.<br><strong>Atmosphere </strong>- The air we breathe is part of the atmosphere.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Four Spheres</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My selected area is situated in an urban location. All the spheres are observable. First, we can see the sky, which represents the atmosphere. Then, the trees and other vegetation/animals conform the biosphere. Next, the ground where the trees and grass grows is the geosphere. Finally, the lake is a great example of the hydrosphere. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Geosphere</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Geosphere is associated with solid portions of the Earth. It includes the continental and oceanic crust and all other layers of the Earth's interior. <br><br>In the picture we can see the soil from the park. Even though some sprinklers were watering the grass, it was already dry due to the strong sunlight. Some grass is growing thanks to the nutrients provided by the soil, a good example of the interaction between the geosphere and the biosphere.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Hydrosphere</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Hydrosphere is associated with water in the liquid state, which covers about 70% of the Earth's surface. Only a small portion of the Earth's water is freshwater, found in rivers, lakes, and groundwater.<br><br>In the picture, we can see the lake from the park. It is home to several ducks and fish, this is an example of the interaction between the hydrosphere and the biosphere. The lake looked blue and the water seemed clean. </div>]]></description>

There were several of them, even complete families. The ducks eat and drink from the lake, this shows interaction between the hydrosphere and the biosphere </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This sphere is the outer part of the Earth System that extends nearly 500 km above Earth's surface and includes an ever-changing mixture of gas and small particles surrounding the Earth’s surface. It includes meteorological features and phenomena such as weather, clouds, or aerosols (particles in the air). <br><br>This picture illustrates the sky as seen from the park, it was clear and completely blue. An important interaction is how the atmosphere protects the biosphere from harmful solar radiation. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The oxygen-carbon dioxide cycle shows another relation between the spheres. During photosynthesis, plants give off <strong>oxygen</strong> as a waste product. <strong>Carbon dioxide</strong> moves from the air into the leaves of plants through tiny openings in the plant's leaves. <strong>Oxygen</strong> moves out of the plant leaf through these same openings.<br><br>This picture shows how carbon dioxide is gathered from air and converted to oxygen by plants. This helps us since humans and animals require oxygen to stay alive.</div>]]></description>

It shows the water cycle from the hydrosphere to the atmosphere and the cycle on which plants convert carbon dioxide int oxygen. It shows how water (hydrosphere) provides resources for living things (biosphere) to develop.          <description><![CDATA[<div> </div><div>To conclude, the four spheres from Earth (Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Atmosphere), work together to create everything we can finds on our planet. There are several cycles and interactions happening withing these spheres; the two interactions that I had not think of before this activity were the Oxygen-Carbon Dioxide cycle and the soil providing nutrients to the plants (maybe because I had not paid that much attention to plants as to animals).I believe most of the features from my site are permanent, such as the trees, flowers and grass; but the lake might be transient since it can evaporate quicker than the amount of precipitation that falls due to our desertic region (hopefully I’m wrong and the lake can stay forever). Now I have learned that having all these pieces together improves the system: the lake (hydrosphere) helps life (biosphere) to happen, the same happens with the nutrients from the soil (geosphere) and chemicals from the air (atmosphere). All these are necessary for the system to remain working.</div>]]></description>
