Each participant was given a paper bag with an assortment of candy/snacks. The goal was to get three of the same kind. So if you were given an M&M, a skittle, and a raisin and I had to trade/barter to get a set of three. However, when I opened my bag I discovered a fragment of a single pretzel. As I went around the room, person to person, I began to realize that I would not reach my goal. No one would trade with me. No one wanted a pretzel. No one else had a pretzel, so there was no group of three to create.
