Nowadays, teachers have to think about the 21st century skills when it is time  to plan their lessons. it is not just reading, writing and counting as it was in the TRADITIONAL LITERACy but also motivate our students to speak, think critically,  think creatively, and work in a collaborative way which are the NEW LITERACIES.

Personally, I had the experience to work with my students using apps or software allowing them to show their creativity through simple writings about them.

Working with different types of texts using digital technology helps students and teachers to develop Digital Literacies and involve key language skills. Furthermore, they result very captivating when being used in class.

It is not just a question of having access to different types of technologies but how to manage it not as  simple  passive "consumers" but as "prosumers" that is contributing actively useful information as well.
