I thought this book was ok but personally I prefer books with more adventure and drama. My favorite part of the story is when the little girl begins to read his story. If you like books with heavier and more obvious themes or if you want to just read a short story. I would probably give this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

In the beginning they had just finished a big battle between them and Norta for property of Corvium which took place in the previous book. Also, Mare had just gotten over a fight with Cal which also took place in the previous book. Has the book continues Evangeline who has to mary Cal. Tries to get Cal and Mare back together as she can be with Elan her secret lover. Then, Cal invites Maven Calore, the ruler of Norta and Cals brother calls,a meeting to discuss Maven surrendering. Maven obviously turns the offer down and walks away. Then, Maven’s Brethod Iris, princess of the Laklanders, turns on Maven and gives to Cal in exchange for the man that killed her dad. Then, Mare, the Scarlet and Monofort left Cal and the others to return to Montfort but they also took Maven. Then they decided to go to the old capital of Norta where Cal was to defend it from the lake landers. So they had Maven lead them through the under ground tunnels. Sadly though Maben escaped so Mare went after him and ended up having to kill him. Finally they won the battle against the lakelanders.

There are almost no bright colors and people are crowded trying to find out there category. Next we are moved onto an old bus filled with the Unwanted 13 year olds all scared of the death farm. When they arrive at the death farm they do not find a pond of oil or executioners but a world of bright colors and creativity.

I loved this book! If you liked this book you would like Harry Potter and the HungerGames. I definitely recommend reading the whole series along with it. The reason I liked this book so much was it had very interesting characters and a wonderful. My favorite character is Lani because she is very brave the text even says “she had been so abruptly Purged before her thirteenth year.” I would definitely give this book a 4 out of 5.

I absolute loved this book it is the second book in a trilogy and is very will written. One of my favorite lines in the book is “ I’ve written whole speeches in my head-but at the last second those words are all that come.” (Oliver 99) Because it relates to me the most. I would probably give this book a 5 out of five stars if you read this story I recommend reading the rest of its series and The Selection, Hybrid Chronicles, Matched, Uglies, Impostors, Red Rising, Hunger Games, Crewel and a bunch of other great books.

Then he goes to the bustling dining room full of people where he meets the king. Next he travels to Digitopolis where he meets the other king and enters the very dim lit number mine. From there he goes on his way to the castle in the air but on his way stops by the Valley of sound where everything is absolutely silent. It was has if, “a switch had been thrown and all the sound in the world had been turned off at the same instant.”next he goes back in his way to the castle in the air a floating castle where everything seemed just perfect. It is the first book in a series of 6. One of my favorite things about this book is all the great quotes, one of my favorite quotes is, “The right belief is like a good cloak, I think. If it fits you well, it keeps you warm and safe. The wrong fit, however, can suffocate.”, I love this quote because it lays a big part in the plot and proves that the right beliefs can strengthen you. I definitely would give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars because it is really good but occasionally can get a bit boring. If I were you I would definitely read this book!
