What do I mean 'blocking'. Every scene has to be planned; lit, set designed and blocked. Blocking is literally placing the actors in the 'space', their movements in the scene and their spacial relationships to each other - all this depends on how you plan to shoot the scene and that depends on the dramatic/emotional effect you want to have on your audience and how you have decided to tell the story, reveal the 'truth'.
