         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Crew Members- </strong>Jim Lovell<br>              Jack Swigert<br>              Fred Haise<strong><br>Mission objective- </strong>exploring the moon, surveying and sampling the Librium Basin, deploying and activating the Apollo Lunar surface experiments package, etc...<br><strong>Launch date-</strong> April 11, 1970<br><strong>How long were they in orbit?-</strong> 5 days, 22 hours, and 54 minutes.<br><strong>Activity of the mission- </strong>Photography, sampling, and experiments.<strong><br>Did it land on the moon?- </strong>no, because an explosion in one of the oxygen tanks crippled the spacecraft during flight and the crew was forced to orbit the moon and return to earth without landing.</div>]]></description>
