Jazmin Zuniga Lopez This chapter was interesting because talks about the life of Carmen and Sonia. Carmen comes from Honduras and Sonia is from USA but her parents inmigrants and they face inmigration in a different way. Carmen Suffer more than Sonia to get to USA because Sonia took the plain legally and Carmen had to cross the border illegalyl. Carmen works for Sonia in USA. She is the Sonia´s housekeeper.

We see that some people have to get ahead easier and others do not.

i am surprised by this type of situation because every day that passes can be several people trying to emigrate to the united states, to have a better life, there are also children who go in search of their relatives, many manage to pass, but many do not get it, in the case that is presented to us here there are two ways to cross into the united states, one of them is legally where you process your visa, buy your ticket and go directly to your destination, the second, more dangerous is to pay a person called the "coyotes" or "polleros" and they pass you to the united states through the desert, but nothing is certain that you will arrive well at your destination

To which Sonia asked him why he had to emigrate!? Which Carmen also comments that her husband left her and her children which drives single mothers to emigrate; he has to work for his children.
Sonia also comments that she emigrated but legally while Carmen had to cross the borders.

My opinion on this topic. It is very sad. From this we can see the immense love that a mother has for her children. Everything to get ahead. Get out of the poverty of food shortages that existed in her country. One has to emigrate to another country to improve their economy. And more than anything that of a son. Even if you don't see its growth. Where you are not to see their moments of joy. People who out of necessity have to emigrate go through different deficiencies and abuses: rapes, kidnappings and consequently slavery, a very clear example is this story, the one that tells us how a mother gives everything because her children are fine in spite of it . This story is very sad. As bad as your country is. You have to get out of it. To improve.
Alejandro Tapia Sanchez

I find it very interesting since it tells us a little about what is currently happening with immigration reform. That we can now also observe. In this case, it tells us about a Honduran boy searching for his mother, once years after she is forced to leave her starving family to find work in the United States. Facing unimaginable dangers. Enrique travels through hostile worlds full of thugs, bandits and corrupt policemen. But he keeps going, relying on his wits, courage, hope, and the kindness of strangers.

She began to understand the depth of despair women face in countries like hers. In Honduras, for example, most earn between $40 and $120 a month working in a factory, cleaning houses or taking care of children. A shack with no bathroom or kitchen rents for nearly $30 a month. She hoped that she could earn money here and send it home to provide her children with an escape from the dire poverty in which she herself grew up. She wanted to give them the opportunity to attend school after sixth grade. She speaks to me proudly of the clothes, the money and the photos that she sends them.

JOSELIN ROJAS ADUPSI
the dead train
The death train was the first great public slaughter of civilians in our war. On August 12, 1936, a train from Jaén was immobilized by militia groups at a stop near Vallecas. Its passengers, more than two hundred men and one woman, arrested in the Spanish province for their right-wing political affiliation or Catholicism, since the main one was the Bishop of Jaén, were being taken to the Alcalá de Henares prison. Faced with pressure from the militiamen, the government agreed to have the prisoners shot. Only a few managed to escape and later told their horrifying story.

Santiago Mata has carried out an exhaustive investigation, sticking to the documents and the facts, and has interviewed one of the survivors, in order to explain what exactly happened and why the Francoist side later preferred to forget this terrible episode.

DANIEL OROPEZA BAHENA Seeing the story of Enrique and his family is something that happens with many peopleIt's a pretty moving story because to achieve the American dream you have to go through a lot of traumatic things. Leaving your country of origin in order to achieve and be able to overcome, leaving family is not easy, it is a sadness to see how we are as a country without being able to do anything because of corrupt governments. In my opinion, this book made me reflect and see all the effort that parents make to move their family forward is something beautiful but sad to achieve if you are alone and without the help of anyone.
