She finished it in just three weeks! The title was 'Dreams Come True'. She wrote the novel on her mobile phone. She was not an experienced writer but she knows how to tell a good story. Her novel was a great success and sold over 200,000 copies.

Akiko wrote the novel chapter by chapter and posted it on a website where readers could download it immediately. She wrote it while she was relaxing at home. She did not think too much or rewrite anything.

Akiko is one of the first of a new generation of novelists in Japan who writes in a simple way as if they are writing a text message. They write in a chatty style and used a lot of ‘emoticons’. They don't worry about grammar and spelling. Mobile phone novels are popular with people of all ages. Many best-selling paperback books in Japan were originally mobile phone novels!
