His brother is ten. Tom lives with his parents in the centre of the town within which you work.</div><div> </div><div>Tom has expressed to his mother that he doesn’t like going to school. He said that he doesn’t like being around the other children because they are too noisy and ‘shouty’, and they pull at his clothes when they are playing in the playground.</div><div> </div><div>Tom’s mother has been to school to talk about this with the teacher, and the teacher has reassured her that he isn’t being bullied but that Tom doesn’t appear to enjoy the rough and tumble that happens in the playground. The teacher said that she has noticed that Tom prefers to be with one or two of the quieter children who play with action figures.</div><div> </div><div>Tom’s teacher told his mother that she is confident that he is not unhappy at school.
