         <title>Culture shock (B4)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Introduction</p><p>In this report we wrote some answers about culture shock for international students of Stafford House.</p><p>The purpose of this report is to know about the different feelings that these students are feeling everyday living in UK.</p><p><br/></p><p>The interview</p><p>Before we started, we prepared some questions about culture shock. </p><p>Firstly, we asked if the students wanted to answer our questions.</p><p>Secondly, after the permission, we asked some questions for 6 students for 5 minutes </p><p>The student are from: Turkey, Thailand, Angola, Japan, Switzerland.</p><p>We asked about the feeling at the beginning, the feeling change over-time, experience about studying with international people, time of stay and if it is easy to make new friends.</p><p><br/></p><p>About the first question, students said: nervous, stressful, anxious, afraid, scared, more excited.</p><p>Second question, all students said:&nbsp; more comfortable, every thing is ok.</p><p>Third, students said they felt excited, sad, painful, difficult. But some students felt interested.</p><p>Fourth question: 9 weeks, 10 weeks, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months and 7 months.</p><p>Fifth: students said it is easy but some students said that connection is not easy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Conclusion</p><p>We conclude that Most students felt same feelings like anxious, uncomfortable, stressful, afraid, nervous about living in the UK at first time and studying with international people.</p><p>But after some time, their feeling get more comfortable, happier and Okay.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The purpose of this report is to present the results of the classroom interview.</p><p>In order to prepare this report, we wrote some questions. Then we went to the B2 room and asked the questions to the students who had the opportunity to study at Stafford House.</p><p><br/></p><p>There were about 10 students of various nationalities from Thailand, South Korea, France, Poland, Saudi Arabia , Brazil , Turkey, thailand and Taiwan</p><p>The interview with them lasted about 15 minutes</p><p><br/></p><p>Some people said that at the beginning they felt happy and curious to discover a new country and a new culture. The other part said they were very stressed and worried.</p><p>Over time their feelings have changed and now most students have a more positive feeling, they feel more confortable and intresting.The other part of the student think the school and the life in cambridge are more and more boring.</p><p>All students said that it’s verry intressting to be with students who come from all around the world because they can discover new culture and it’s a good way to improve them english’s level.</p><p>The people studie here beetween 1 month and 1 year.</p><p>The biggest part of the person tell to us it’s easy to make new friends but one person said it’s not easy because the people stay with the people from the same country.</p><p><br/></p><p>In conclusion, having the opportunity to come to study here, everyone wants to improve their English to use in work, study, and increase good opportunities in the future. In addition, to develop English skills in daily life and want experience living abroad.</p>]]></description>

Then we went to the B2 room and asked the questions to the students who had the opportunity to study at Stafford House.</p><p><br/></p><p>There were about 12 students of various nationalities from Thailand, Korea, France, Italy , Saudi Arabia , Brazil , Mexico and Turkey</p><p>The interview with them lasted about 15 minutes</p><p><br/></p><p>Three students said that when they first came, they felt a bit bad because they missed home, but as they stayed there, they felt very happy to be here. They felt happy and had new experiences. As time passed, they felt very happy to be here to study. They met new people both in the UK and abroad. They gained a lot of new experiences. If the day comes when they have to go back, they will miss it very much.</p><p>In addition, they felt that it was a good challenge for themselves. They felt more confident from studying English and felt good. They learned about new cultures that were different from their own.</p><p>In having the opportunity to come and study this time, there were only 4 weeks and today was the last day for the student from Brazil. He felt very sad because he was quite attached to his friends here. If there is a chance to come again, He would like to come. It is easy to find friends here because everyone wants to come and study the language. Everyone has the same goal.</p><p><br/></p><p>In conclusion, having the opportunity to study here, everyone said that they wanted to improve their English for use in work, study, and to develop their English skills in everyday life and wanted experience living abroad. When they arrived, everyone felt that coming here was not bad. They believed in themselves. Everyone could do it.</p><p>Some of them said the difference in food was difficult for them , while others said the weather was very cold.</p>]]></description>
