2. Reading Logs and Book Lists: I will provide parents a list of recommended books that are appropriate for their child's reading level. Including a reading log where parents can track the books their child reads, and the time spent reading can help encourage regular practice. I will share simple strategies with parents, such as echo reading (where the parent reads a sentence and the child repeats it), and choral reading (reading together).

How to prepare for the game:

  Create Bingo cards with a mix of vocabulary words the students are learning

for the week. And prepare a list of kid-friendly definitions or sentences that use these words in context.

Playing the Game:

   - Distribute the Bingo cards to the students.

   - Read out the definitions or sentences one by one.

   - Students will mark the corresponding word on their Bingo card if they have it.

Accommodating Various Developmental Levels: Early Learners: Use simpler words and provide visual aids (like pictures) on the Bingo cards to help them match the words with their meanings (Literacy Minnesota(n.d).

For intermediate learners: Include a mix of familiar and slightly challenging words. It is important to encourage them to use context clues from the sentences to identify the words. For advanced Learners, use more complex words and definitions. I would challenge them to come up with their sentences using the words after the game.
