Prompt Response-What does it mean that Thomas Jefferson, a man who owned over 200 slaves, was writing American’s Freedom document? What are your thoughts on Thomas Jefferson, a leader of America just leaving when America needed him. Do you think that if Thomas Jefferson had stayed in American some of the laws about slavery and Aferican Americans would not of been passed, if so why? I think if he didnt then the laws wouldnt have been passed. I think he was bad for being a segregationalist.
