         <description><![CDATA[<div>Evidenced based approaches include diagnosing each child’s conceptual gaps in understanding and giving the child more<br>individual support in working through visual,<br>verbal, and physical activities designed to bridge<br>each gap.<br><br>Interventions should be adapted to individual profile of performance levels and difficulties.  Students should have as much one-to-one teaching as possible. Students should receive as much repetition in teaching as possible.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Hereditary and environmental components are hypothesized as possible causes. The prevalence is 3–6 % of the population.  Females seem to be diagnosed more often with dyscalculia than males.  Early identification, diagnosis, and treatment is very important.
