In this video city tv compares the best credit cards for travel rewards on your purchases. There are tons of credit card companies out there but the most used by Canadians seems to be TD, RBC, BMO and Scotiabank. Each of these banks charge different annual fee's sometimes ranging from $0-$500 a year. The credit card market is a highly competitive market which is why sometimes it can be extremely overwhelming when looking for a credit card that works for you because they're are a lot of options. Companies have started creating marketing tactics such as waving their annual fee for the first year and giving out thousands of free aeroplane miles when you switch from your current credit card to theirs. According to Citytv the best card on the market right now is the RBC World Elite Westjet Card.it provides a free return ticket on any flight in Canada when you switch from your own bank to theirs. Its in your best interest to do extensive research to make sure you're getting the cheapest interest rate and if you're looking into a travel credit card the most points aeroplane points. We chose this video because we found it extremely informitive and helpful. One tip we heard that we thought was great news is that credit card companies are fighting each other to try and get us to sign up so its a consumers market right now.

We found this to be interesting because it would make sense that the Atlantic provinces would have a higher credit card debt because the climate is so cold all there is to do all day is shop online.
