Your padlet should have 9 images total in three categories, please see below.
All photos of ONE object.
I can answer questions in our session on Weds or by appointment or email.

Please select an object that means something to you at this time; it could relate to quarantine experience or be an object and photograph in at least three different ways for each concept.
You will most likely be taking dozens of photos and selecting three for each concept/skill. Please post these on your own padlet and place the link to the padlet on google classroom. 

I will then consolidate them in an assignment so that you can respond via critique and learn from each other's work.
So this assignment is NINE photographs posted on a padlet, with brief explanations, link submitted via classroom. Due tuesday 4/21.

Shooting objects/people indoors is considered STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY.

1. Framing. How does the position of the object in the picture plane and the distance and angle to the lens affect the feel of the photo? Try close up crops; shooting from above; shooting from below; etc. Select the strongest image and in your submission explain why you think that framing

2. Use of light to create drama. Try lighting directly; placing the object in front of a window or light to create backlighting; spotlighting in a dark room; placing light below or directly above; lighting from the side. No fancy lights needed; You can just use a desk lamp, a flashlight, angling towards a window; experiment.

3. Perspective. Try shooting from above to make the object look small, from below to make the object look large, and forcing perspective by lining it up with other objects and bringing the lens down to horizon level.On this page, Please post your links here and we will add comments on THIS page when we review each others' portfolios!
