Watch for children showing signs of being uncomfortable. Use precautions!!!

-Infants/Toddlers: Unable to tell child provider if they are too hot/cold. They tolerate shorter periods of outdoor play. Dress in lightweight clothes for warmer months and layers for colder months. Protect children from time in sun and provide beverages when playing outside.

-Young Children: Remind children to stop playing, apply more sunscreen, and hydrate!

-Older Children: Need reinforcement to wear appropriate attire outside. May resist more sunscreen being applied as well as taking time to hydrate.
