• Gesa offers a total of $30,000 to high school seniors who have plans to pursue higher education. Gesa’s Scholarship Committee will select twelve Entering Freshmen scholarship winners and will award ten $2,000 scholarships and two $5,000 President’s Award scholarships. • Gesa offers a total of $15,000 for members who are looking to continue their higher education. Gesa’s Scholarship Committee will select six Continued Education Scholarship winners: five $2,000 scholarships and one $5,000 President’s Award scholarship. Passion: Applicant demonstrates a passion they want to pursue in life and explain the steps they are currently taking to pursue that passion and/or their plans to do so in the future.

Social Impact: Applicant has a clear goal that they want to achieve to create positive change in their community and beyond and is committed to making it happen.

Personal Presentation: Applicant shares their personal story in an emotionally inspiring and authentic way.

Educational Goals: Applicant shares their current educational plan (education program, college, or certificate/degree program) and explains how it will enable them to pursue their passion and create a positive impact.

To be eligible for The Power of Resilience Scholarship, applicants should be in either high school or college (undergraduate or graduate program) and must show good academic standing with a GPA of at least 3.0. The scholarship recipient will have made clear their interest in the power of personal resilience when in crisis.

Application

To apply for this scholarship, please submit:

• Tell us which high school or college you currently attend,

• An unofficial academic transcript,

• A 1,000-word essay discussing when you were faced with a serious life challenge and how you overcame that challenge. In your essay, you should explain what you have learned, and especially what others can learn from your experience.

Award: Scholarship amounts range from $1000 - $5000+

Scholars are selected based on merit. Award amounts range from $500 - $5,000, based on relative need.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be of Hispanic heritage

• U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA 

• Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students

• Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2025-2026 academic year

• Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

Eligibility:

• Identify as female

• Be current high school seniors, college undergraduates, or graduate level students pursuing a degree and career in a non-medical, STEM-related field (Non-STEM majors are not eligible)

• Be United States citizens planning to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year

• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

• Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

7. You are pursuing a postsecondary credential (Associate, bachelor’s, certificate or technical degree) up to your first bachelor’s degree

8. Your cumulative GPA is at or above 2.0

9. You demonstrate unmet financial need toward your Cost of Attendance for the 2025-2026 academic year.

• These awards are given to students who plan to pursue a career in public education.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrate financial need based on a completed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

• Meet Washington State residency requirements for financial aid.

• Intend to enroll full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student at a participating public or private college or university in Washington State beginning fall term of the application year.

• Intend to use their education to benefit the American Indian community in Washington State.

• Not pursue a degree in theology.

• Have not yet received a total of five years of this scholarship.

The RealtyHop Scholarship awards up to $2,000 a year to eligible undergraduate students and high school seniors working towards a bachelor and/or associate degree program in the US who demonstrate the ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit that is central to our company culture.

Eligibility:

• Must be a student attending an undergraduate program or a graduating high school senior.
